The Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) is the governing body for world motor sport and the federation of the world’s leading mobility organisations. Founded in 1904, with headquarters in Paris and Geneva, the FIA is a non-profit organisation. It brings together 244 Member Organisations from 146 countries on five continents. Its Member Clubs represent over 80 million road users and their families. The FIA promotes safe, sustainable and accessible mobility for all road users around the world. Frank Fotia – Chief Operating Officer, Canadian Automobile Association
As CAA National’s Chief Operating Officer, Frank’s responsibilities include Corporate Affairs, Finance and Human Resources. Frank also supports the automotive and insurance services business lines. Frank joined the CAA National Office in July 1998 as the Director of Insurance Services.
Prior to joining CAA, Frank held a senior management position with the Canadian head office of MetLife, a leading insurance company, managing an organization of 300 employees serving the needs of major corporate employee benefits and pensions clients.
Frank lives in Ottawa with his wife, Ines and has two children, Lianna and Karina. Frank speaks French, Italian and Spanish.
